Location
Location great, however this is a basic 1 or 2 star hotel, nothing flash here, basic room, hard bed, not even a set of drawers in room, tatty fridge with the last guests food in it,. we requested a superior room with terrace and expected nice bedding, music system, tea, coffee facilities, instead got a room that a business person passing through would accept, tatty terrace one sunlounger, no cushions, tatty table and chairs, grotty paintwork and corrugated plastic ceiling over terrace. Think this was only classed as superior because was on 7th floor, would not stay again

I liked the staff i think the location of the hotel is excellent the breakfast is ok so it's definitely worth the money

For a City Trip, I think this hotel ticked the boxes. Location is perfect, literally around the corner from Plaza de Catalunya and the Airport Shuttle service, which I can really recommend using. Some people complain about it being noisy, yes when you leave the windows open it would be...I live in southern Europe and it's like that in a lot of places. But there's air condition and so there's no need for having the windows open...even so...you're in the middle of a city, of course it's noisy!! We stayed in this hotel during the Student Riots and Barcelona Hooligan riots (Champions League Final) and we slept fine!! Room is comfortable and the balcony is nice and does the trick. Breakfast wasn't amazing, so I wouldn't eat there if you haven't got it included in your room rate as it's not worth the money they ask for. Front desk staff were very friendly!
only thing I wasn't impressed with was breakfast, but other than that I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location for site seeing excellent. Loved being so close to the main avenue with shops, restaurants, square etc.....Also enjoyed view of city life from balcony, Staff at front desk very helpful (recommendation for Tapa place spot on) and staff very accomodating as far as holding luggage. Thank you.
Did not eat in dining room. Appeared a bit dated.

The location was fantastic only being a stones throw away from the Placa Catalunya. Great for shopping trips and very easy to get around on the Metro/train.We wanted to be in the city to enjoy the hussle and bussle but went for the formula 1.Definatly would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and the location of the Hotel is ideal for a city trip.
The wireless connection was charged 10 euros a day. I expect a 4 star hotel to offer this service for free, given that almost every cheap youth hotel does the same, moreover there were no Internet cafes nearby. The air condition had been changed to cool not to heat, and could not be changed back. Since the week of our stay the night temperatures were low, it was not very comfortable at night. The breakfast was charged 13 Euros, however the quality of the products offered did not justify this price. The staff in charge of the breakfast was overloaded with work and more than one day, there was no milk for the coffee or clean spoons etc.

Location was excellent.
The room was too warm and a/c only seemed to work on heat. So we had to open the window and it was very noisy in the street all night.
-
Great great location. very good value for money. clean rooms. recomended
Breakfast was a little poor but all in all it was ok

We booked a twin room with extra bed (for no extra cost) for our two children. The room was huge!! We have stayed at many different hotels in different countries. This has to be the best room we had ever stayed. The childfren actually had their own sleeping quarter. The breakfast was also quite good. The location was excellent as it was only a couple blocks away from the Rambler, metro stop, train station, restarurants and grocery stores. Staff at front desk was helpful.
The walls were very thin. We heard people next door talking, watching TV, flushing toilet, etc. Staff in breakfast room was not friendly.
-
large beds
seperate rooms for bathroom and shower

The room charge per night was reasonable despite it's central location. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.
Hotel although was ok, it was not 4 star luxury, I have seen many 3 star hotels with better facilities and comfortable rooms
